The music of The Brothers Four has delighted millions for 40 years. Folk songs from America, Ireland, Scotland and even Japan round out a repertoire of tunes old and new.
Perhaps best known for their hits in the 1960s “Greenfields” and “Yellow Bird,” the group has recorded several albums of original and traditional folk songs. The band continues to perform, treating audiences around the world to their unique blend of vocal harmony and acoustic music.
A recent tour in Japan resulted in the release of a double-CD album “The Tokyo Tapes,” containing old favorites such as “Yellow Bird, ” “The Green Leaves of Summer,” and “Greenfields” as well as newer material such as an “American Medley” of folk revival numbers and Irish ballads.
